Poetry workshops with local poet

Ever wondered how a poem is written?

One-hour Poetry Workshops with local Welsh poet.

As part of Adult Learners Week 2012, Richard and Hayley from Connecting Learners are hosting two poetry workshops next Tuesday, 15^th May, at the Cartrefi Cymru Tremadog office.

The workshops will last one hour and will be lead by the highly-esteemed local poet Rhys Trimble.

You’ll get chance to learn more about poetry in general, as well as learning all about a type of short Japanese poem called the haiku. There’ll be the opportunity to listen to Rhys read some poetry and then write some haikus of your own and receive feedback from Rhys.

The sessions will start at 12pm and 2pm and are completely free for all Cartrefi Cymru staff, service users and their families to attend.
