The TUC has published an analysis of a survey of ULRs and their managers, highlighting the benefits to organisations of embracing the Union Learning Rep movement in support of the skills of the people working in there organisations.
You can download it here http://www.unionlearn.org.uk/policy/learn-3926-f0.cfm?utm
We will be using this material to help employers understand what ULRs can bring to the workplace. Our 1st ULR recruited through Connecting Learners (N&M) has now completed her training and is making waves within Cartrefi Cymru. As Rhys Trimble said at our launch in Machynlleth, "Upskill me Llinos"!!!
Enjoy a long weekend in the sunshine, and remember that Mayday is for the workers.
